Cheviot

Cheviot is one of the UK’s largest independently owned investment firms with a focus on managing bespoke investment portfolios for private clients, trusts, charities and pension funds.

Requirements

The Cheviot website was produced with the combined effort of both Classic Studios and our friends at design company Alphabet Advertising.

With the design complete and deadlines looming Cheviot needed a rapid turnaround of these designs into a working website. Consequently, Classic Studios were engaged to turn Alphabet Advertising’s work into a website reality.

Solution

Classic Studios carefully transitioned the design into HTML (CSS) within an extremely tight timeframe.

Additionally, several technology components were also deployed including a bespoke content management module to drive the site’s ‘meet the team’ area. In addition to this, Classic Studios also designed and implemented an intelligent contact and registration form that enables visitors to request further information, request a call back and subscribe to further communications.

Results

The website has enabled Cheviot to communicate with both their existing and prospective customers and has enhanced their reputation as a leading investment firm.

With phase one complete, attention has now turned to further development; with phase two activity planned for Q4 of this year. This will see the rollout of additional technology components to further enhance the  functionality of the website.

Further releases in 2008 will include:

• A news CMS allowing the seamless publication of pdf, audio and video content.
• An enhanced subscription service.
